Hey guys. Oh my, it has been such a long time since I wrote something on my blog. Not the longest but still felt so long. I’m so happy that I got to write again. Been wanting to share about a lot of things but life has not been easy. Prioritizing what’s the most important in my life comes first. Anyway, how are you guys doing? I hope everyone is well. Korang apa kabar? Tetiba hari ni rasa macam nak type campus-campur dalam Bahasa Melayu. Pardon me, kalau tetiba my ayat macam pelik sebab I memang lama betul tak menulis dalam BM.
A lot happened and I sometimes share it on my social media. Maybe some of you would know. One of them would be traveling. I wouldn’t say that I travel a lot but I’ve been here and there at different places on different occasions. I’ve been driving a lot and was always exposed to the UV rays. During this time, one of my main concerns was how to actually take proper care of my skin. Being under the sun for too long can be really bad for the skin. I’ve learned it the hard way and I hope you guys won’t make the same mistakes.
I took for granted the good healthy skin I had before. Didn’t even bother to wear any SPF. Maybe I did but not all the time. Just for the sake of being under the sun during my tournaments, and that’s it. Back in the days when people introduced a compact or cream with SPF I was into it. My skin felt great but long after that I got tired of the desire to be fairer and scared of being tanned. No more compact, no more creams. I’m back to basic.
Ever since my last breakout slash dermatitis slash allergic reaction to my skin, I have never skipped my sunscreen. Even on my lazy days, sunscreen is a must to apply. Makeup or no make up, sunscreen is definitely compulsory. Cleanser and sunscreen were the first two things that my dermatologist emphasized plus suggested to change and use on my daily basis. I have to skip all other skincare for quite a while and I’m glad that I did that. I, of course would definitely follow and ended up throwing away all my other skincare (which I definitely can’t use anymore) and stick only with a gentle cleanser and a water-based sunscreen.
Speaking of sunscreen, it is crucial to pick one that suits your skin and that is definitely not easy. It took me a while to get one myself. I thought all sunscreen only had one purpose, that is to protect your skin from the sun. I was wrong. Sunscreen does not only protect your skin from the UV rays but with the right choice of sunscreen, you can also get one which can help to moisturize and tone up your skin tone without actually giving you breakouts. Now that is awesome.
Since my skin can be very oily at times, I’d prefer one that is oil-free, light textured and easily absorbs sunscreen since I hate the feeling of greasiness which could annoy me throughout the whole day. You know how annoying that can be. That is why one of my favorite sunscreens is the Hansaegee Nature Aloe Vera Sunscreen. First things first, I am very picky and particular with what I applied on my skin because it is the sensitive type. I get redness quite easily if the product doesn’t suit my skin. I never want to harm myself in any way.
Honestly, I’ve always been curious as to how good and effective the Hansaegee Nature Aloe Vera Sunscreen is. So, I was really happy when I was finally able to get my hands on it and I was in love with it ever since. Since my skin can be very oily, and very dry too, I am very fussy when it comes to choosing sunscreen. Mesti la kita nak cari sunscreen yang bagus plus ada spf yang bagus untuk wajah kita. Betul tak? I love how it feels on my skin and it was so easy to blend. It doesn’t burn or feel sticky. I notice that it kinda brightens up my skin tone but it still looks natural and kulit Ray.
I took it with me everywhere. Just seeing the tube in my bag is enough to make my day better. I’ll make sure to have at least one sunscreen in my bag. The more the better. Not sure if you’ll believe me, but I do have more than one type of sunscreen in my handbag. Kadang-kadang Ray akan apply sunscreen yang berlainan depending on my skin condition at that particular time. Anyone else like me? Bila kulit Ray kering ray akan pilih sunscreen yang tidak berminyak and vice versa. Anyone else sama macam Ray?
Why Hansaegee Nature Aloe Sunscreen (Hybrid Sunscreen)?
SPF50+ PA+++ Strong Sun Protection
Before this, I had no idea that the word spf would play a big role in protecting our skin from UVA & UVB rays, and prevent the skin from sunburn. All I know is that it protects your skin from the sun and prevents sunburn. Little did I know, I was wrong. Thus, an spf 50 means a product will protect you from 98% of the UVB rays that penetrate your skin. So, it is actually good enough for us to apply in our daily life. Dulu kan, Ray ingat lagi tinggi spf lagi bagus. Rupanya bukan macam tu. Sunscreen yang bagus is the one that can protect our skin from all the harmful effects of the UV rays. So, sunscreen spf 50 pun dah cukup bagus.
Moisturised & Smooth
Apart from strong sun protection, Hansaegee Aloe Vera Sunscreen contains ingredients such as Glycerin, sodium hyaluronic & Allontoin which can help to moisturize the skin. That explains why it doesn’t dry up my skin and makes it feel even smoother. I think if you have dry skin, Hansaegee Aloe Vera Sunscreen would suit you just fine. You guys boleh nampak perbezaan of my skin condition sebelum and selepas apply the sunscreen. Sebelum apply my skin nampak kusam, and kering. Lepas apply, nampak la berwarna sikit. Pinkish-pinkish gtu.
Sunscreen applied – blend it – skin moisturized
Calming Skin & Soothes Irritation Skin
As we all know, Aloe Vera is a very famous ingredient which is often used in cosmetics and skincare. Which is why, Hansaegee Aloe Vera Sunscreen can help to soothe irritation on the skin as well as calm your skin, making your skin healthier. Simultaneously, the aloe vera in the sunscreen will also aid in treating sunburns, inflammation and redness. All the more reason why Ray rasa sunscreen aloe vera ni sunscreen yang bagus. And another thing is, ianya sesuai untuk semua jenis kulit. *wink
Macam yang ray mention tadi, I get redness quite easily if the product tak sesuai with my skin. So, just knowing that sunscreen aloe vera ni wujud, I cannot take my eyes away from it. Alang-alang tu kan let me share with you guys some of the benefits of aloe vera. You’ll understand why I love this sunscreen. It contains healthful plant compounds, antioxidant and antibacterial properties, accelerates wound healing, and it may also improve skin and prevent wrinkles.
Lightweight and Not Oily
Here’s my favorite part to be considered when applying things on my skin. For me it is very important to find a sunscreen that is lightweight and not oily. This does not only apply to sunscreen but to other products as well. I used to be an athlete and I really hate putting anything on my skin including sunscreen. That was because my skin will be super oily at the end of the day and that makes me uncomfortable. That was before I learned the right thing about sunscreen. The Hansaegee Aloe Vera Sunscreen is just right for me as it is very lightweight making it easy to blend and absorbs really fast.
One more thing, as our skin (sebaceous glands) will continuously produce sebum, it is best to use oil-free products to prevent clogged pores. We all know yang aloe vera ni memang ada function calming and soothing effect. Bukan senang ye nak jumpe sejenis sunscreen aloe vera macam ni. Sejenis sunscreen yang tidak berminyak apatah lagi. Ray dah try sendiri. Usually, bila apply sunscreen kita akan immediately rasa kulit kita berminyak. Tapi not this one. But do remember this, kulit kita memang akan sentiasa menghasilkan minyak as time goes by, so tak bermakna kulit kita akan kekal tak berminyak sampai ke petang or malam.
Best Hybrid Sunscreen
Korang pernah dengar tak about hybrid sunscreen? If not, let me tell you.
For a start,
Physical Sunscreen/Mineral Sunscreen – help shield the skin from sun rays. It delivers broad spectrum protection by reflecting UV radiation away from your skin. It sits on top of the skin. Meaning the sunscreen hanya ada on the surface of kulit kita.
Chemical sunscreen – while physical sunscreen sits on top of the skin, chemical sunscreen absorbs into the skin and then absorbs UV rays, converting the rays into heat and releasing them from the body. Chemical sunscreen pulak menyerap atau meresap ke dalam kulit kita. Okay faham tak?
So basically hybrid is similar to combination, fusion or a mixture of two or more substances. In other words, hybrid sunscreen is a combination of chemical and physical sunscreen. Where it combines mineral and chemical filters. Which means, all the goodness from both ingredients are chosen whereas the bad things are filtered away. Due to that, within one hybrid sunscreen you’ll get both the ease of application from a chemical sunscreen and the broad-spectrum coverage of a mineral sunscreen. Jadinya, hybrid sunscreen ni adalah gabungan daripada bahan-bahan terbaik daripada both physical and chemical sunscreen. Bergabung meletup jadilah Hybrid sunscreen terbaik yang pernah Ray jumpa.
No Harmful Ingredient
Another thing to take into account in choosing your sunscreen is making sure that your sunscreen does not contain any harmful ingredients. And let me tell you, this aloe vera sunscreen is Alcohol-Free, Paraben-Free, Silicon-Free, Sulfate-Free and also Allergen-Free. These are actually the list of ingredients I would personally check every time I’m choosing my skincares or any other products. It also contains natural plant extract like Aloe Barbadensis, Leaf Juice, Centella Asiatica, Morus Alba Bark and Orchid making it suitable for all skin types. I was afraid at first knowing that I might get another rash on the skin if there’s any harmful ingredients. I’m happy it did not happen.
No White Cast And Not Waterproof
One of the most annoying things from wearing sunscreen is the white cast. It’s like you’re wearing a foundation or compact that is not your shade. I feel like washing my face all over again as it looks weird having all these tiny white casts on your face. Thankfully, the Hansaegee Nature Aloe Vera Sunscreen leaves no white cast on my skin even when I reapply it. My skin felt comfortable for the whole day.
Another thing which I love and making this sunscreen one of the best I’ve ever used is the fact that it is not waterproof. Ray memang suka kalau produk yang ray guna tak kalis air sebab senang nak basuh. Tak perlu susah-susah nak cari wet wipes, micellar water or cleansing oil. Wet wipes can be rather harmful to the skin as it may contain ingredients that may inflame the skin after using it. Rubbing your skin with wet tissue is not the best thing to do if you love your skin. Unless you have your makeup on, then you’ll use your cleansing oil or micellar water. If not, you’ll only need water to wash it thru. So, kalau you guys nak cari sunscreen yang boleh basuh dengan air je, silakan cuba sunscreen aloe vera ni. You’re gonna love it as much as I do.
Yes. It’s good and I love it! I am not good at explaining about the ingredients but most importantly, it contains all that is friendly to my skin. The main ingredients include Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronic & Allantoin. It also contains natural plant extract like Aloe Barbadensis, Leaf Juice, Centella Asiatica, Morus Alba Bark and Orchid. From only these ingredients we can already see why it’s claimed as Alcohol-Free, Paraben-Free, Silicon-Free, Sulfate-Free and also Allergen-Free. All that I could wish for so that I can avoid any allergic reactions. So, for me it is safe to say that this sunscreen aloe vera is actually sunscreen yang bagus untuk semua jenis kulit.
Personally, I am glad that I was able to share this with you guys because one of the ways I did to repair my skin barrier was through the routine of applying & reapplying the sunscreen every single day. Trust me, it works. I still remember applying the aloe vera gel dalam bekas warna hijau tu. Siapa tahu? Setiap malam Ray apply sebab best, it’s very soothing and sejuk. Now, tahu tahu dah ada sunscreen aloe vera. Memang cool!
Here’s a quick and constant reminder to always reapply your sunscreen every 2-3 hours at best. Bukan apply sekali je lepas tu biarkan sampai ke malam. Kalau macam tu, lebih kurang sama je macam tak pakai sunscreen. Pakai la sunscreen mahal or bagus mana pun, tapi kalau tak reapply you won’t get the best results out of it. Jadi, jom la kita mulakan dengan mencuba sunscreen aloe vera. Hiks thank you for stopping by and dengar bebelan Ray.
